Summary
Wanyang designed and manufactured an 82 × 85 mm zinc-alloy petal sand-flow fridge magnet for a cultural memorial venue. About 5,000 pcs were made in this order (a separate order from the 1,200-pc batch shown on the case-study summary card). The piece combines a relief landmark, a floating petal sand-flow window and two magnets, with gift packaging.
Challenge
The venue started with only a few photos and rough ideas. It needed a souvenir that was clearly linked to the site, looked good on a shelf, and gave visitors something to play with.
Solution
- Design logic: the landmark makes the magnet recognizable, flowers add visual appeal, and the sand-flow window adds interaction. Wanyang helped extract cultural elements and develop the visual, structure and packaging plan.
- Material & finish: zinc-alloy body, imitation-gold plating, relief with UV printing and protective oil coating.
- Structure: petal sand-flow box; two 15 × 2 mm magnets on the back.
- Color control: multi-color areas need careful control of color bleed, mixing, fine lines and color edges.
- Packaging: floating display box, paper box and tote bag.

FAQ
Can a sand-flow window be combined with a metal relief?
Yes. The sand box is built into the zinc-alloy body. Check the flow effect on a sample.
What packaging suits venue retail?
A floating box with a paper box displays well. For gifting, add a tote bag.
